Perspex People join forces with Kula Records to deliver a soulful yet funky flavoured house track. A sexy vocal and sun drenched sax makes ‘No Giving Up’ a guaranteed floorfiller from Miami to Ibiza. On remix duties we have Conan Liquid, Scibi, Jon Milsom and Zweiklang.

Hailing from Glasgow a city well known and respected for it’s deep and underground house music, Derek Paterson (aka Perspex People) has an unrivalled passion for all forms of proper house music. His influences stretch far and wide from the pure house sounds of Danny Rampling, CJ Macintosh, Rocky & Diesel to America’s Frankie Knuckles and Tony Humphries. However the foundation lay within the religious visits to Slam’s Friday night’s at the Arches and Club 69 when Mr Weatherall was in town. For this track Perspex People have teamed up with vocalist Elaine Suzy Scott. Known for her powerful vocals, she has featured on tracks such as Fresh 27 – ‘Give Me Love’ and U-Ness – ‘Tangiers Heat’.

Conan Liquid one half of the successful DJ and production team ‘Liquid People’ has now spread his wings and become a solo producer and DJ in his own right.

Conan Liquid has recently released tracks with house giants Strictly Rhythm and 4th Floor. The releases have been championed by the likes of Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, Todd Terry, DJ Spen and many other major artists and DJs. Recent remixes for Todd Terry, Defected, Blacksoul, and many more have all made the top ten on download sites such as Traxsource.

Scibi is one of the top polish young house music producers. To date, Scibi has remixed some of house music’s finest tunes including Karol XVII & MB Valence, Distant People, Yves Murasca, Divided Souls, Jeff Daniels and Fresh 27. He has had many of his own productions signed to record labels including Loco Records, PhattSounds, SoulHeat, Coffee Bar Music and Loopfreaks.

Jon Milsom is no stranger to the house scene. Having released tracks and remixed for labels like Jay-J’s Shifted Music, Music Boutique, Clean House and Lost My Dog his reputation for solid house grooves is growing fast. Remixing for the first time here on Kula Records, Jon delivers his unique style with a 303 influenced banger !!

Last but no least on remixing duties we have Zweiklang. These brothers from Germany deliver their trademark style for an eclectic mix of soulful, jazzy and deep sounds with heavy Latin and African influences, alongside a healthy dose of tech house.

Scotland are back in force once again!  Glasgow based producers Perspex People team up with the West Coast’s Elaine Suzy Scott and together bring a lovely piece of soulful house, thats reminiscent of the early MOD (Masters Of Disaster) material.  Live sax starts nice and early and the vocals are sublime.  Conan Liquid who is on fire at the moment brings 2 special remixes that will rock your socks right off.  For true madness, drop his Dub mix – ooooft – one of Conan’s best Dub mixes to date, very atmospheric and rem, banging!  Next up on remix duties is Jon Milson who provides a deeper and more electronic style remix – definitely one for the tougher floors.  Scibi offer a decent alternative mix to the original and Zweiklang goes for a deeper vibe.  Overall, its the Original and Conan Liquid mixes that will hit you here, definitely worth checking out!
